WORKING WITH DEALERS
Our policy, wherever possible, is to work with dealers who supply BIM CAD systems to the AEC industry. As the industry adopts collaborative BIM, the role of dealers and their relationship with customers will become more important and valued. We seek to support this by conducting our business with transparency and by providing the team with the best IFC applications and expertise required to make BIM successful on projects.

 

CAD SYSTEM INDEPENDANT
As the AEC industry evolves and adopts process oriented planning and production methods, similar to the automotive and aerospace industries, more construction companies are participating in BIM projects by facilitating the central 3D geometry. Now that all the major CAD vendors have adopted IFC (see list) the philosophy of buildingSmart, interoperability and collaboration has become a reality. Customers using BIM will save time and money and dealers will have access to new business opportunities since BIM requires suitable technology to be implemented effectively. Because IFC is in the public domain, versus ownership by a single software vendor, all participants in the value chain can benefit. On a practical level we aim to provide alternative solutions to the wider network whose customer base is challenged following the acquisition of software developers by larger vendors.

We are constantly reviewing the global market to seek out the best-in-class IFC compliant products, and invite developers who fit this brief to contact us. We are actively engaged in the process of creating new products by promoting IFC to market leading AEC software developers and bringing the best products from the Oil & Gas, Process and Energy markets into the construction sector. All this is made possible through the open standards of IFC. Where necessary we even undertake the translation from local language into English.
