SOLUTIONS FOR OIL & GAS, PROCESS & POWER

ArtrA is an Asset Management system that uses the intelligent data from 3D models.

It is developed in the UK by ArTrA Ltd and distributed to dealers and end users through BIM Products Ltd.

Owner-operators have been reluctant to use 3D models as a central point to access plant information because the systems were complex to impliment, difficult to use, and extremely expensive. Now ArtrA allows information to be managed through a 3D model without the costs or adminsitrative burden associated with the CAD systems that created them.

Some of the clients who have taken advantage of ArtrA's technology include British Gas Subsea, NPower (for corrosion monitoring), and Skanska who are using ArtrA on the Royal London Hospital project for site management, snagging, and for handover of all documentation to the owner operator. ArtrA is working closely with Shell UK on the Pearl project; the largest LPG site they have built.

ArtrA uses the 3D model and its data attributes as the 'window' to plant documentation fullfilling the needs of many disciplines including:

Commissioning : Operations : Maintenance : Inspection : Health & Safety : Corrosion Monitoring : Data Logging :

ArtrA's flexibility means it is employed differently from plant to plant and department to department. Some of the specific applications include

Monitoring corrosion degradation, site snagging information and reporting, reducing scaffolding costs, streamlined communication of design & review information, more efficient processing and documenting of work orders and training for disaster response.
